Murrieta’s is a wonderful spot for upscale dining with a cozy, elegant atmosphere. I had the best customer service experience at this restaurant. The waiters and owner were so attentive to us on a busy Saturday evening. The food was the best I tasted and prices were good. They treated us First Nation elders with respect and kindness They even helped us with elevator services.
Dropped by Murrieta's for happy hour and was surprised to see a near-empty restaurant. Summer tourism has just begun, but I'd highly recommend Murrieta's for a happy hour stop at the least. They have a lot of great 10 deals and a 15 deal on pizzas. We got the lamb meatballs, brussel sprouts, and prosciutto pizza. It took 15 minutes for all the food to come out. The lamb meatballs were tender and juicy and came with a slightly spicy tomato sauce. The pizza had a fair amount of mushrooms and prosciutto, and I liked the added kick from the pepperoncini. My favorite dish was the brussel sprouts, which had a sweet and crunchy exterior and toasted almonds.
Was a stroke of luck stumbling upon Murrieta’s on OpenTable while looking for a nice place to celebrate a birthday. The elevated rustic atmosphere was warm and inviting as was the staff. From drinks and appetizers (including the fresh baked loaf of bread) to our entrees and desserts, everything was spot on. Was a perfect spot to relax and celebrate.
We usually make a point of eating at Murrieta’s every time we go to Canmore. It is a great dining experience with scenery that never gets old. The service has always been exceptional and the food and drink is always kept at the highest quality and standards which is why we keep going back, bring friends and family with us, or recommend it to anyone that has yet to enjoy the experience. Nothing but amazing things to say about Murrieta's Mountain Bar and Grill, Basma, and the rest of the staff. Recently had my post elopement dinner here and I'm still in awe of how perfect everything turned out. Food was incredible (guests are still talking about it), planning process and communication was seamless. View was incredible and room is so beautiful and cozy. I couldn't recommend this place more for any event. 1000/10. Thank you Murrieta's for a great evening to remember.

Basma, the manager, was incredibly kind, attentive, and full of energy, making sure every guest felt welcome and taken care of. Her vibrant personality added to the overall experience. Hayden, my server, was professional, friendly, and provided outstanding service, ensuring everything was just right. Their hospitality truly made my visit special. I highly recommend Murrieta’s for a great meal and exceptional service!
My husband and I had our wedding reception here the staff were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond the atmosphere was beautiful. We didn’t need any decorations as a venue itself was breathtaking. The food was outstanding all 50 of my guess enjoyed it. There was not one complaint! I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding. We brought our own speaker and had music we wanted to dance floor so they changed the seating layout for us last minute and they accommodated us to let us set up the night before and take Down the morning after. My husband and I will for sure be making another stop there for dinner passing through
